Welcome to 2016 and wish a Happy New Year to viewers.
Adult coloring books are very popular for all and it is quite meditative. One can create your own or get one of the books and start using coloring pens, pencils and colors of your choice. You must try it out and see it for yourself. Having said that, I have been posting my own lines and colors created from sketch. You can use as collage too.
Yes, you will not believe that these adult coloring books are very meditative and selling fast today. I have been creating patterns for years and now they are back again. It is fun for the whole family and you can have great family time doing it. The books are ready with patterns and all you need to do is color them.
I created this pattern on my own this summer and people love it.
Here’s an inspirational acrylic painting showing water and water droplet depicting to conserve our resources at any cost as we are running out of them.
I started this series in 2009 and painted many in these series. Recently, added new one for submission to traveling show in New York.
This watercolor painting is my all time favorite and it is owned by my daughter. It is created with wet into wet technique along with applying the misket which dries on application and one can paint over it. After the paint dries, you can remove the dried misket which is rubber like by peeling it off. The remaining white paper color can be touched up with some watercolor as you see in this painting. This technique is widely used by many artist to save the layer of color underneath which could be paper or actual paint.
Creating different shapes makes unique design and filling it with color is more attractive.
I used markers to make my shapes first and then using thin markers for fine lines and finally filling it with water color gave it a complete look.
Make it a week end project and you will enjoy with your family.
